How we look after your information
Who we are
This website is run by pheme, a marketing consultancy based in Cambridge, UK. For anything about your personal information, email amy@pheme-marketing.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:
- your name, company and email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- the type of business you work in, if you choose to tell us
- your message
- whether you'd like to receive occasional email updates
If you email us directly, we collect the information in your email.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To send occasional updates and insights by email, only if you've ticked the box to say you'd like them. We rely on your consent, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
Our website is hosted by Netlify, which receives contact form submissions on our behalf. Our email is provided by GoDaddy. These providers only process your information on our instructions. Where they store data outside the UK, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep a record of our conversations, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as we need them for our work together and for legal and accounting purposes. If you've signed up for updates, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or tracking tools. If that changes, for example if we add website analytics, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw consent to email updates at any time. To do any of these, email amy@pheme-marketing.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch with us before you do.
